Content Policy

Effective Date: September 24, 2026

1. What this covers

Dora turns what you write into video and images. That is a tool people can misuse, so some requests are refused outright. This page says which, how it is enforced, and how to report something. It applies everywhere Dora runs: doravideo.com, the iOS app, the Android app and the connector for AI assistants.

2. What you may not generate

Sexual content

Nudity, sexual acts, genitalia, and anything made to be sexually gratifying. Prompts asking for it are refused before any generation starts.

Anything sexual involving a minor

Prohibited absolutely, with no exception and no artistic defence. Prompts that combine any indication of a minor with sexual terms are blocked outright. Confirmed cases are reported to NCMEC and the account is closed.

Real people who have not agreed to it

Do not generate a recognisable real person, public figure or private individual, in a way they have not agreed to, and never in a sexual, degrading or deceptive setting.

Deception presented as fact

No fabricated news, no fake evidence, no impersonation of a company or institution, and nothing synthetic passed off as a genuine recording of something that happened.

Violence and hate

No gore for its own sake, nothing that attacks or dehumanises people for who they are, and nothing promoting or instructing terrorism or self-harm.

Illegal goods and services

No drugs, weapons, counterfeits or fraud, whether as the subject of the video or as the thing it sells.

3. How this is enforced

Every prompt is checked on our servers before a generation begins. The check runs on the same path for the web, the apps and the connector, so there is no route that skips it. A blocked prompt costs you nothing: no coins are spent on it.

The model providers we use apply their own filters as well, so a request can still be refused after ours has allowed it.

Accounts that repeatedly attempt prohibited generations are suspended, and we keep the record of blocked attempts needed to act on that.

4. Reporting a generation

Every generation in your library has a Report button, which sends it to us together with the prompt that produced it. If you have seen something made with Dora elsewhere, write to sagalabs@proton.me with a link and what is wrong with it.

Reports are read by a person. Anything involving a minor is treated as the most urgent thing we have that day.

5. What you make is yours

Anything you generate on a paid plan is yours to publish and to sell against. That does not extend to anything listed above, and it does not override the rules of wherever you choose to post it.

6. Changes

We update this page when the rules change, and the effective date above changes with it.
